It makes me feel so old to be excited about getting a free crockpot. This was the first year I haven't won something and the first year that Blake has. I guess my luck rubbed off on him.

First Official Wedding Gift
okay this title isn't really true because Blake's awesome sisters already gave us some really sweet and extremely useful stuff (couch from Andrea, George Foreman grill from Lindsey, oh and a bookshelf from Grandpa Carlile!) But tonight Blake and I went to the credit union dinner ( which is a huge tradition for both of our families) and Blake won us this really awesome crockpot!

I missed it this year! I was laying in bed sick all night thinking about all the gifts I could be winning. Nice shiny crockpot!

It really is thrilling to win something at the credit union dinner. Especially if it is something other that a silver dollar!
Hun, I think that is way cool that you guys won a crockpot and dont feel old its a great thing for any one living on there own. Plus it was free for both of you so who can go wrong with that.
